Welcome to Peterbald Cattery Van 't Gistels Hof

At Van 't Gistels Hof you will meet Steve and Nele. Our cattery is located in a homely environment, where our Peterbalds are part of everyday family life. Our animals grow up in a loving and caring environment and are prepared for a family and warm environment.

Our main priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all our animals from birth until they leave with their new families and beyond. To do this, we rely on a veterinarian to carry out the check-ups and we have a close network from people who also have Peterbalds.

With us you will only find the Peterbald variety. Read more on the site and be charmed by a very special breed. As soon as you bring a Peterbald into your home, you will have an exceptionally affectionate, friendly and smart housemate.

Everything about the Peterbald

“If you have a Peterbald cat as a roommate, you will never be alone again. These special cuddlers are extremely affectionate, people-oriented, good-natured and friendly, but at the same time smart and outgoing. To satisfy their curiosity, they follow their owner everywhere.
To some extent, a Peterbald even tries to please her owner by showing off unsolicited tricks she has learned. When that's not enough to get the attention she needs, she raises her powerful voice. Simple: the Peterbald likes to be the center of attention. She usually lives peacefully with other cats and pets; She is also a great housemate for families with children.[…]

The energy and fluid requirements of a Peterbald are higher than those of a cat with a thick coat. She does not need any special food, but she does need a slightly larger amount. Check with the breeder or veterinarian about appropriate portion sizes.

Even as indoor cats, Peterbalds have a strong urge to exercise. If you choose this house tiger, you must have sufficient space and climbing options. These smart cats love intelligent toys.

Reservation list for new litters

We occasionally have kittens. These are highly sought after and that is why we work with a waiting list. A kitten is only sold after a visit to the cattery, so that there is an introduction to the animal and so that everything has been properly discussed regarding the care of the kitten.
